Last night I found myself listening to the Director's Cut of YBAM that Paul put out a few years ago. I was playing it for some new converts to BL, but I think I enjoyed it as much/more than they did (and they really liked it). I'd somehow forgotten, or at least not precisely remembered, how fantastic that album is, and how happy it makes me. Thanks again for that, Paul. :D

Yeah, that director's cut is an amazing CD...dark at spots, sensitive at others...excellent sound that stands the test of time.

What's really funny about the directors cut, for me, is how much I notice the differences. I mean, they're largely a little more guitar here or there, but they always grab my attention. I guess that's only possible when you've been listening to certain versions of songs so long that they just become a part of you!

I know what you mean, TRN. I always notice the differences, subtle though they may be. The slightly longer intro, the stretched riffs...of course the extra tracks that make the DC feel 'more-whole'. Love the liner notes too...Paul's insight looking back.
