“take this” is from Kristin Kelly’s new album See Red. you might remember Kristin as the co-singer of Cake or Death. she’s branched out on her own, penning twelve new tracks of highly addictive alt.pop. I helped work on the album, and “take this” is my fav. it’s pure Kristin, tough and delicate at the same time, with a perfect groove anchoring the production of Deej Hofer from Stray Palace.

I lent my SEEING RED CD to my cousin and haven’t seen my copy since. Just the other day, she said that “‘Take This’ is such an awesome song!” Now I know what I’m going to get her for her birthday in September … her own copy of SEEING RED.

A friend told me about this album. I am glad she did! The vocals are blended perfectly with the music. The engineering of the album is flawless! Kristin sounds great, and the songs are addicting! I think I know what I am getting for my sister for her birthday present now.
