An online workshop with Paul Durham

for beginners and experts alike

5 classes over 4 weeks, live via Zoom, one evening per week starting the last week in January.

Together we'll work on dissolving creative blocks and move through an intuitive process of writing 1-3 songs. You'll learn powerful techniques to build momentum in your work and discover the secrets of compelling songwriting.

Most importantly, the course will provide structure and accountability in support of your creative vision.

Each class will include instruction, examples, and stories from a life spent writing songs, as well as the chance to ask me specific questions and get personalized responses to your work. Assignments will help you integrate the information in order to draft and refine your songs one step at a time. 

And just for fun, I’ll be writing a couple of songs alongside you. I’ll go through the same process of drafting and sharing my songs so you can get an inside perspective on the shifts that happen as I go along.

Wherever you are in your process — whether these are your first songs or you’re ready for advanced recording techniques — this course will meet you where you are and provide a roadmap for how to grow as an artist.

The course includes a private Facebook group where you'll be able to ask questions, share your work, and connect with other songwriters for support and collaboration. 

Classes will be recorded so that if you can't make a day you'll be able to catch up at your convenience, and you'll have access to the recordings in perpetuity.
